Description

TSP-200 Series modules are fused solid state secondary surge protectors for Key, PABX, C.O. (Central Office) trunk pairs. The units are available in two different circuit configurations. The TSP-200 is constructed with solid state silicon avalanche foldback technology and fuses. The TSP-290T features solid state silicon avalanche foldback technology and polyswitch resettable fuses - PTC's. These surge protection modules are intended to be used in conjunction with proper primary surge protectors (UL 497). The circuitry is designed for pairs with ring voltage present, and incorporates overcurrent protection required by UL 497A. The protective elements switch from the normal high impedance state to a low impedance state upon detection of a surge then switches back to high impedance after the surge has passed.

The TSP-200 and TSP-200T fit onto a standard MI-50 split block and replace the bridging clips. In addition these modules require the MGB ground rail for each MI-50 Block used.

MGB Ground Rail - Designed to fit standard 66M1-50 Punch Down Block. Allows TSP, COHP, OPX, ESP Series and other similar Surge Suppressors to access ground when snapped onto the 66M1-50 Punch Down Block.

The Std. 66M1-50 Block is capable of terminating 24 to 20 AWG solid wire.
